The movie also won “Best Video Essay” at the Budapest Smartfest 2026.

“The Cinema That Never Was” was also part of the Opening Night of the Busan International Short Film Festivals 2026 in Busan, Korea.

“Céremony” (script and direction: Mark Wachholz) wins “Best AI Film” at the Children’s, Science, Nature & Wildlife Film Festival 2026 in Hyderabad, Indien. The movie was also the selected Winner in the “Shared Trace” Category of the UnHuman Shorts Season II 2026 in Dubai, UAE. At the end of march “Céremony” won the “Grand Prize” at the Indywood International AI Cinefest 2026 in Kerala, Indien.

“Céremony” is also part of the Opening Night of the ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival 2026 in Paris.
